• Appalachian Kentucky Bluegrass seed is an improved variety that’s classified as a compact mid-Atlantic type with the following characteristics:
  • Early spring green up
  • Dark green color
  • Resistance to common turf diseases
  • Overall good turf quality with high density
  • Deep, extensive roots and rhizomes
• Developed with quick establishment in mind.
• Excellent seeded alone or in mixtures with perennial ryegrass, creeping red fescue, chewing’s fescue, or turf type tall fescue.
