This cover crop mix is designed for fall seeding in home gardens. We built it to help supply nitrogen to the soil, add biomass and ground cover. We kept the home gardeners in mind by making sure that each species will die in frost leaving behind a groundcover to protect your soils through the winter. We put no below ground root plants within this mixture to limit the need for tilling. Keeping radishes, turnips and other brassicas out of this mix helps keep diseases from maintaining a hold in your garden as well! This mix contains Oats, Crimson Clover and Buckwheat.
