Native Tallgrass Prairie Pollinator Mixture

This mix includes a combination of native tall and short grass species and wildflowers adapted to the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Eastern regions of the US. While our Shortgrass Pollinator Mix is well-suited for urban or smaller rural plantings, the Tallgrass Pollinator Mix is a great choice for larger plantings where tallgrass species such as big bluestem, Indiangrass, and switchgrass is desirable. The blend will reach 5-6’ tall and replicate a tallgrass prairie. Expect year-round interest and a diverse habitat, which can attract and support wildlife including deer, turkey, pheasant, songbirds, bees, butterflies, other pollinators and so much more. Little maintenance is required once established; mow each spring to knock down the previous season’s growth.
